A letter from Kayla…

As a young girl, I found myself fascinated with my mom’s jewelry box… often rummaging through and trying on her things without permission. My appreciation and admiration only expanded with time. Her jewelry box held such a wide range of pieces, the aesthetic found in its diversity; representing different styles, cultures, and trends throughout her life and travels.

I later discovered that many of the pieces I was fawning over originally belonged to my Grandmother and great Grandmother. My fascination with jewelry began my appreciation for strong and empowered women, emphasizing the importance of individualism through their own unique sense of style.

I began to collect jewelry at an early age. I found myself traveling and collecting special tokens to represent trips and moments. Not all were particularly valuable, but they signified monumental times in my life. I adored the idea of one day having someone rummaging through my very own jewelry box. Now, I have designed Kayla Jaclyne as my ever changing jewelry box for all of you. 

This brand was created from bountiful ideas, the first being that there are no limits to creativity.  Through the process of design, I learned that you find inspiration in all walks of life: nature, culture, art, music, family, and friends. Kayla Jaclyne will evolve as I continue to learn and grow, offering new and inspired collections. Secondly, the opportunity to represent individual taste through personal expression is strongly encouraged. All of our pieces are designed to be mixed and matched and worn in interesting ways to embody personal styles and tastes.
